Screenshot strategy

Turn one app into a 6-shot store story.

Paste an app link, choose the launch goal, and draft the screenshot sequence before opening a canvas or export tool.

Storyboard generator

Draft the sequence first

Start with the story. Render later when the message is clear.

Goal

Free mode uses the app URL and your goal. Workspace mode can add live listing data, raw screens, and competitor proof.

Output

A brief you can design from.

The result is intentionally not a canvas. It tells you what each screenshot needs to prove.

Story first

Decide the six-slide sequence before choosing templates, frames, or styles.

Screen requirements

Each slide says which product screen is needed, so design work starts with evidence.

Workspace path

Move from one free brief into saved projects, localization, rendering, and exports.

Boundary

Strategy now. Rendering after proof.

This keeps the free page useful without pretending to be a full design studio.

Free brief

App URL, goal, three storyboard angles, and one six-slide sequence.

Workspace mode

Saved projects, live listing data, raw screens, competitor proof, localization, and export packs.

Does this generate final screenshots?

Not in this first free version. It generates a storyboard brief: slide purpose, headline, required product screen, and visual direction. Rendering and ZIP export belong in the workspace flow.

Why start with a storyboard instead of a template?

Templates solve layout. Most weak store screenshots fail earlier: the first frames do not explain the app, the sequence repeats itself, or the headline is too generic.

Can I use it without raw screenshots?

Yes. The free version can draft a strategy from an app URL and goal. Raw screenshots and live competitor proof are better handled inside a saved workspace.

How is this different from screenshot generators?

Screenshot generators focus on making images. Screenshot Director focuses on deciding what each image should communicate before design starts.

Can AppTide claim conversion lift?

No. The page gives ASO strategy guidance, not guaranteed conversion lift. Conversion claims need connected experiment or store performance data.

After the story

Render the set in the workspace.

The free page decides the story. Screenshot Studio turns it into six iOS PNGs when you are ready to ship.
